-The Heiva i Bora Bora festival is held in Vaitape in July incorporating traditional sports competitions, dancing, and singing.

-The Tahiti Moorea Sailing Rendez-Vous is held for three days in July, an interactive event for visitors, residents, and sailors. There is a welcoming event, sailing rally, and a variety of fun-filled Polynesian style competitions.
